 THAI-YOGA BODYWORK
Natural therapy for flexibility, relaxation and energy

In my quest for knowledge in natural treatments and to improve my own health as well as others' well-being, I found the perfect bodywork...workout. Believe it or not, Thai Massage or as some call it: Thai-Yoga Bodywork, actually benefits the therapist as well as the receiver.

Of course I am excited about adding this bodywork system to the services being offered at SeaStones because of the benefits I receive. However, you will recognize specific benefits because I will be able to give deeper pressure where needed and use various stretching techniques that otherwise cannot be given.

Thai-Yoga Bodywork is done fully clothed on a floor futon so you will need to wear comfortable loose clothing for the session. You will be positioned into yoga postures and stretches. The deep compression is applied in a rhythmic manner along energy lines by the use of palms, thumbs, elbows, knees, or feet.

In the same way I do, during the session you will find your attention focused on the body positions and the breath which is like practicing mindful meditation. As a result, at the end of the session you will feel relaxed, alert, and energized as one would after performing Yoga or Tai Chi.

I really like this idea of improving my own health at the same time I am helping others!

Why Try Thai?
Thai-Yoga Bodywork is a complete system and is ideal for the active type who prefers deep pressure and lots of stretching; or for the person who fails to add stretching to his/her routine. Those who receive Therapeutic Massage or Thai-Yoga Bodywork regularly will experience the positive effects of relaxation, flexibility and more energy. These effects allow you to balance life's stresses and enhance a healthy lifestyle.
